Matthew Spivack is a Practice Leader for the Middle East and Africa. His role involves presenting research, moderating client discussions, and leveraging FSG’s network of expert advisors, proprietary data, and research contacts to develop and deliver unique insight on market trends that impact companies operating in emerging markets. Mr. Spivack is the author of several recent FSG publications and series including the Middle East and Africa Monthly Market Monitor, and investment briefings on Egypt, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the UAE. Prior to Frontier Strategy Group, Mr. Spivack worked at the National Democratic Institute where he spent time in Kuwait, Lebanon, and the UAE, and worked on programs involving local government officials and journalists in the Gulf region. He also worked for the Fraud Section of the U.S. Justice Department’s Criminal Division, including as the Victim Witness Coordinator on the Enron Taskforce. Mr. Spivack holds an MA from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, with a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
