This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Zeynep Kosereisoglu, FSG’s MENA Practice Leader, regarding our latest Management Excellence study titled: “Adapt Your Value Proposition In The GCC.” Our discussion focused on three core topics: (1) an update of the long-term structural challenges the region will face, and their implications in terms of competition, customer behaviors, and the overall operating environment; (2) where to find the pockets of opportunities in the region and why it is still attractive on a relative basis; and (3) how companies must adjust their strategies towards the region to capture the scarce opportunities in a tougher competitive environment.
Any MNC executive with investments in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries should make reading this report a high priority. It is full of actionable strategic recommendations, tools/frameworks and case studies. It also provides a wonderful and thought provoking topic for FSG to moderate at a leadership.
